A Liturgy for a Thanksgiving Meal

The Thanksgiving table is a place where family and friends gather to pray, share a meal, give thanks, and take time to slow down and enjoy each other’s company. We’ve put together a simple liturgy to help you cultivate a culture of thanksgiving this holiday.

As you feast take time to read this short reflection on Christ’s work, pray for each other and others, and give thanks to the Lord who is our Bread of Life.

This file will print two copies on a standard 8.5x11 sheet of paper. Print out as many as you need and place them around the table for your guests to join in the prayers and readings.

I pray that this liturgy will help cultivate gratitude at your tables this Thanksgiving, and will help orient all the people that use it toward Christ the Bread of Life.

God Bless and Happy Thanksgiving,

Fr. Michael
